About us

Launched in 2017 in India, the CottonConnect Farmer Community Foundation is here to support, develop and empower communities in rural areas by enhancing health, hygiene, skills, education and opportunity for all.

The Foundation is focused on enabling better lives. It does this by initiating projects to promote women’s empowerment, improve health, hygiene and nutrition, boost employment opportunities through vocational skills-based training programmes and raise income levels in rural communities.

The Foundation provides an opportunity for philanthropic and corporate supporters in India to collaborate and advance life-changing interventions that improve the health and wellbeing of people and make communities self-sufficient and economically independent.

Focus areas

The Foundation is focused on addressing challenges in three key areas:

1. Education, by providing scholarships to primary school students (aged 6-14, 50% girls, 50% boys).

2. Entrepreneurship development and vocational skills development, by providing training in tailoring, plumbing, computing, driving and beauty services.

3. Child development, by enhancing awareness of the importance of girls being educated in tribal areas, and boosting nutrition and technology skills.

Our interventions and initiatives are designed to primarily support women, children, adolescents and tribal groups’ rural communities in India.
